Encouraging audiences to deposit at ATB FINANcial, win $50,000, and travel


Role:  Illustrator, Motion Graphics Designer, Video Editor 

Responsibilities: Collaboratively ideate with art directors, marketing managers, and copywriters to pitch and develop video assets

Platforms: Instagram, Pinterest, Snapchat, Facebook, ClueP, Youtube

Software/Tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Media Encoder, Premiere


 

Inviting audience

By depositing or banking at ATB, clients could win $50,000. The goal was to excite audience with traveling to world.

Strategy

From paid Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest and ClueP ads to OOH, the creative needed to be carefully researched to promote the opportunity.

 

Launch Video - 30s

Process

A plethora of high end stock video was carefully pitched, implemented, and colour graded. Going through several review rounds with key stakeholders helped focus on the vision.

Diversity

One many challenges was ensuring we displayed culture diversity in the individuals represented in the videos.

 
 

Video Refresh - 15s

A 30 second and 15 second piece were created. The latter overall had more completed views.

 

Social Media Ouputs

Above are examples of shorter videos created for social platforms like Pinterest and Instagram Stories.

The campaign also considered a younger student demographic. By focusing on opening student accounts, the opportunity became clearer to a larger audience.

Using imagery that captured the attention of a younger demographic with activities like hiking, backpacking, or a selfie in Europe fit the target demographic.
